Factory Operations Lead - Interior Doors

Based in sunny Mount Maunganui, Mount Interior Doors supplies interior doors to Tauranga and beyond – one of the fastest-growing regions in New Zealand.

We are seeking a skilled, motivated individual to manage production operations, ensuring the safe, continuous, and efficient operation of our factory.

We have a small, stable, and reliable team, and the right person will have endless enthusiasm to motivate whilst providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of factory staff and production output
• Mentoring and motivating your team
• Job scheduling and logistics time management
• Continuous focus on improvement in quality control
• Maintaining factory production records
• Assist customers – phone and on-site when required
• Support and cover for the Doors Manager
• Staff training through practical involvement
• Utilising a ‘hands-on’ approach to meet production demands

Your attributes:

• Exceptional work ethic supported by excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm and drive to lead and inspire your team
• Have effective problem-solving abilities
• Assembly/Building/Joinery experience would be beneficial but not essential
• The ability to adapt to change
• Be computer literate
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of a factory environment.
