Kitchen Joinery Assembler
Location: Sydenham, Christchurch Hours: Monday - Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm Saturdays available (optional) - Paid at Bonus Rate Start Date: Immediate start available
Are you an experienced Kitchen Joinery Assembler looking to join a well-established company. This is your chance to work in a modern, well-equipped factory for a business that's been proudly operating in the industry for a long time.
About the Role:
You'll be assembling high-quality kitchen joinery and cabinetry, working as part of a skilled and supportive team. Every day will bring variety, from reading plans and interpreting drawings to ensuring precise, detailed finishes on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling kitchen joinery and cabinetry to specifications
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Conducting quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in kitchen joinery, cabinetmaking, or assembly (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret joinery plans and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Must be currently based in New Zealand with valid working rights
