EQUIP Recruitment is seeking reliable and practical Frame & Truss Fabricators to join a busy manufacturing team. This role suits someone who's comfortable using hand and power tools, enjoys repetitive production work and has experience similar to a first-year carpenter, hammer hand or workshop assistant.
You'll be working in a structured factory environment assembling timber frames and trusses used in residential and commercial builds.
What You'll Be Doing
- Measuring and cutting timber accurately
- Assembling frames and trusses using hand and power tools
- Operating saws, nail guns, and basic workshop machinery
- Repetitive assembly work to meet daily production targets
- Checking materials and finished products for accuracy and quality
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
- Following all health & safety and workshop procedures
What We're Looking For
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools
- Carpentry, hammer hand, or workshop experience (ideal, not essential)
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
