Production & Assembly Technician – Firearms Components
IMPORTANT: Applicants must hold a current New Zealand Firearms Licence. Applications without a firearms licence will not be considered.
We are a New Zealand manufacturer of precision rifle suppressors and firearm components, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to join our team. This role is hands-on and varied, covering assembly, quality control, and order preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of rifle suppressors and firearm components
- Quality control of machined parts as they come off CNC machines
- Visual and dimensional inspection of parts
- Packing and dispatch of customer orders
- General workshop assistance as required
Requirements
- Current New Zealand Firearms Licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to follow processes and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a workshop environment
Desirable (but not essential)
- Mechanical or engineering background
- Experience with quality control or precision components
- Previous workshop or manufacturing experience
