Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Joiner / Cabinetmaker with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in New Zealand to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a tradesperson who takes pride in precision workmanship, has strong technical knowledge, and can work confidently from plans & design drawings.
You will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality bespoke cabinetry and joinery for residential and/or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture custom cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and bespoke joinery
- Read and interpret detailed plans and specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble joinery in house to a high standard
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Trade qualification in Joinery, Cabinetmaking, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with both workshop manufacturing and good understanding of on-site installation
- A problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
- A friendly and outgoing personality, a desire to learn and contribute as part of a team
- Full driver’s licence
- Strong work ethic and reliability
