Coating Technician

We are hiring at SAM Machinery and we are after the real deal.

We need an experienced Coating Technician to join our team. This is a full time role with overtime, based in our Hamilton workshop, working across blasting, thermal arcing, powder coating, and keeping parts flowing through the system.

Roles Available

Coating Technician *Abrasive blasting to prep heavy machinery components Thermal arc spraying and metal coating Sanding and surface prep before coating Powder coating, gun setup, and oven operation Moving and staging parts through the coating process

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in blasting, coating, or industrial finishing
• High attention to detail, you take pride in your finish
• Reliable, self managing, and consistent
• Physically capable, this is hands on work with real gear
• Bonus skills in forklifts, logistics, or general machinery
