We are a family owned Retail Drycleaning and Industrial Laundry, processing workwear, sheets, towels & mats throughout the Waikato. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and repairs of Process Machinery, Industrial Washers, Conveyor systems & general site equipment along with some facility R & M to keep the site running smoothly. We are look for someone who must have the following attributes:
*Good attention to detail, practical and diverse *Trouble shooting ability and fault-finding skills *Prefer Trade qualified: Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer/Fitter/Electrician *Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mechanical trade *Good fabrication & welding ability *Have a broad knowledge of engineering practices, tools, and equipment *Excellent communicator *Positive attitude towards Health & Safety *Forklift experience preferred but not essential *A can-do attitude and desire to set & lead by example *Prepared to work in a team or alone completing tasks in an often-diverse work environment *Available for after hours on call duties *Be a good representative of our company liaising with site operators & staff. *Competent using a computer & able to write clear notes. *Full driver's license *NZ Resident
