We're looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of skilled and experienced fabricators who take part in all the steps of the fabrication process. Training to fabricate the Altus windows and door systems products will be provided, but it would help to start with solid joinery fabrication skills and experience.
Reporting to the Production Manager you’ll need:
- A background in aluminium window and door fabrication will be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience with handling, cutting, assembling, and glazing aluminium joinery
- A strong understanding of technical documents
- Health and Safety consciousness
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to work unsupervised as part of a team
- Good communication skills – literacy, numeracy, and the willingness to take instruction
- Physical fitness – lifting is required at times
- Proven reliability, honesty, and a can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work and workplace
- References from past employers
