Our client, a well-established Lower Hutt manufacturer, are looking for reliable Operators to join their busy production team. If you enjoy physical, hands-on work and want stable shift-based employment, this is a great opportunity.
Shift Options (Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.)
- Afternoon Shift: 4:00pm – 12:00am
- Night Shift: 12:00am – 8:00am
About the Role
You will be operating and monitoring production machinery, keeping things running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This is a fast-paced, physical role that involves lifting up to 20kg and staying alert on the job.
Key tasks include:
- Running and monitoring machinery
- Spotting and reporting faults
- Assisting with minor adjustments or breakdowns
- Keeping your area clean and hazard-free
- Supporting team members and helping across the department as needed
- Following all health, safety, and quality procedures
About You
We’re looking for people who are:
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, with a strong attendance record
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Safety-focused and quick to learn
Manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.
