About the Role
We are currently looking for a Senior Storeperson to join our company based in Airport Oaks. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 06:00AM - 02:00PM however there is opportunity for overtime (in the week and on weekends). This is a full-time role and is expected to go until around the middle of this year at this stage. Duties will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck
- Picking and packing orders
- Using online system for dispatch
- Devanning containers
- Putting stock away in the warehouse
- Loading and wrapping pallets
- Operating other machinery on-site a few hours a week
- Regularly lifting 20kgs of product
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Using RF scanners
Skills and Experience
- You must have a valid Forklift license
- At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck
- Must be computer literate and be able to pick systems up quickly with training
- Experience with RF scanner is beneficial
- Good communication and be able to work alone and in a small team
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Able to regularly lift 20kgs
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
