Storeperson / Forkhoist Driver - Construction Products
$28-$29 per hour | Monday-Friday
Our client is a well-established supplier of specialised construction products, offering innovative cladding and plastering solutions designed specifically for New Zealand building conditions. Operating as part of a wider construction and coatings group, they support a strong trade customer base and continue to grow their local operations.
They are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson / Forkhoist Driver to support their busy store, warehouse, and delivery functions.
About the Role
Working as part of a small, high-performing team, you will support daily operations across the store and warehouse while delivering a high standard of service to trade and commercial customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction products safely and efficiently
- Operating a forkhoist (reach experience required)
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately
- Assisting with deliveries and ensuring materials are transported safely and securely
- Supporting trade counter and in-store customer service
- Managing stock levels, stock takes, and inventory checks
- Handling EFTPOS and cash transactions as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Reporting vehicle or equipment faults to management
What We're Looking For
- Forklift licence (Reach required)
- F Endorsement advantageous
- Full New Zealand Driver License (Class 2 or 4 an advantage)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and well organised
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Hours and Pay
- $28-$29 per hour
- Monday-Friday
