Our client, a well-established flour mill based in Christchurch is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team for an immediate start.
This is a day shift role with stable ongoing work for the right candidate.
Pay rate is $27.00 per hour, plus applicable overtime rates and allowances.Daily duties include:
- Forklift operating
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- RF scanning of stock
- Some manual heavy lifting (up to 20–25kg)
- General warehouse duties as requiredApplicants will need:
- A current OSH forklift certificate with proven experience
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Confidence with RF scanning systems (advantageous)
- Ability to safely lift up to 25kg when required
- Reliable transport and strong attendance record
