Inwards Goods Team Leader - PAK'nSAVE Napier City

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Inwards Goods Team Leader to join our team at PAK'nSAVE Napier City.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient flow of stock into the store, ensuring accuracy, safety and strong communication across the business.

Rostered hours are Monday - Friday 07.30-16.00.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Inwards Goods department.
• Supervise, support, and train team members to ensure high performance and accuracy.
• Oversee all incoming goods, ensuring they match invoices, delivery notes and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate recording of all stock movements within store systems.
• Maintain efficient organisation and storage of stock in designated areas.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers, drivers and internal departments.
• Ensure the inwards goods area remains clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to workflow and stock management processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inwards goods warehousing or logistics is preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role is an advantage.
• A current forklift license.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices.
• Understanding of health & safety requirements.
