Matagas & Tanktest laboratories is a one stop facility for cylinder reconditioning from pressure testing to full repaint of vessels along with domestic/commercial LPG and industrial gases supply. Due to continued growth, we are seeking and experineced supervisor for our Christchurch based facilities.
About the role This is a permanant full time hands on role with majority of the time spent with the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team in the day to day operations ensuring production is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Key responisbilities include but are not limited to . Planning and scheduling labour and plant . Ensuring orders are dispatched on time with budget and scope . Monitoring productivity and safe operations . Monitoring vehicle/site compliance and drivers . Ensuring customer service experience to the highest possible standard
About you . Minimum of 2 years experince in supervising staff in production enivornment . Excellent planning and problem solving skills . Be able to work efficinetly in busy period . Excellent communication skills and be able to lead the team in a positive manner . Physcially fit and be able to work extended hours when required . Committed to safe practices & be able to work safely with Dangerous Goods . Class 2 License along with DG and F endoresement is desirable but not essential. . Must be able to go through endrosement processes if and when required. . Full Class 1 NZ License is a must
