PhotoLife Studios is NZ's Leading School Photography Company specialising in school class and portrait photography, student ID cards and sports club photography.
We currently have a vacancy for a School Photographer to photograph class/team groups and student portrait (individual) photos.
We are looking for someone who has a positive outgoing personality, works well with children (Primary to Secondary level), as well as Teaching Staff. You will need to be a self-starter and able to work under pressure to deadlines. Punctuality and a high standard of grooming is required (uniform and all equipment is supplied).
You must have the following essential skills:
- Outstanding people skills
- Excellent sense of humour to deal with varied and tough situations
- Ability to focus and work under pressure to critical deadlines and in noisy environments
- A great manner with people from all backgrounds
- Efficient, time conscious approach to your work
- Sense of pride in your work
- Full Clean NZ Drivers Licence
You need to be a self-starter & a morning person! Assignments require arrival early in the morning and there will be a requirement for travel away from home. The position suits a physically fit and energetic person, as you will be setting up & packing up photographic gear daily and may be required to move it over some distances at schools.
Photography experience is a distinct advantage however full training will be given. Critical to success in this role is personality fit and a hard-working ethic. If you do have experience working with children this would be viewed favourably.
