Description
Position Title: Manager Location: Auckland Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent with minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay Rate: $28 - $32 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our wholesale and distribution business. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stock, coordinate suppliers, and ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the wholesale and distribution business to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
- Handle stock control, inventory management, and timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Develop and follow business procedures to maintain good workflow and customer service.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and plan strategies to grow sales and improve profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare basic financial and operational reports.
- Manage purchasing and maintain proper stock levels to meet customer orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery companies to ensure goods are received and delivered on time.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and company policies.
- Assist in planning and implementing business improvements and marketing activities.
Requirements:
- 3-year relevant work experience or Level 5 qualification.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of inventory and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
