Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title- Painter No. of positions- 2 32- 40 hours per week Pay Rate- $30- $35 per hour Responsibilities:
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Apply varnish and other finishes
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders, placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering. . Cover surfaces with appropriate materials to protect areas not being painted, such as floors, furniture, and fixtures. . Ensure that all work areas are cleaned and properly maintained, with all painting tools and materials stored securely.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions . Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. . Comfortable working in various positions, weather conditions, and heights . Punctuality and reliability Able to work quickly and accurately . Willingness to learn and be part of a team . Apply paints and varnishes using roller and spray
2 Years of experience OR Level 4 OR Higher qualification
