Warehouse Assistant Company: Millwood Limited Location: Auckland
About the Role Millwood Limited is an importer and re seller of specialty timbers located in East Tamaki. We have a vacancy for a reliable and motivated Warehouse / Sales Assistant to join our team and learn an interesting industry. This is a varied hands-on role involving picking and packing orders, managing stock, assisting customers, and helping keep the warehouse running smoothly. Some proven track record in a business/ warehouse/ sales environment will be an advantage. Millwood will provide relevant product knowledge and industry training on the job, as well as providing fork-hoist and class 2 license training, as some deliveries may be required.
Key Duties
- Pick, pack, wrap, and dispatch customer orders accurately
- Receive and store incoming goods correctly
- Assist with stock control and stock takes
- Comfortable working with trade customers and understanding their expectations
- Complete basic paperwork (delivery dockets, stock records, invoices)
- Carry out deliveries and pickups when required
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse Requirements
- Physically fit and willing to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow processes and instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Full driver license (Forklift and Class 2 training provided) What We Offer
