Atom Operator

Baygold is seeking skilled Atom Operators to deliver high‑quality orchard spraying and machinery services using Atom Self‑Propelled Orchard Sprayers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in machinery, and values safety and teamwork.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate Atom sprayers to deliver precise, timely spraying
• Communicate with Orchard Managers and on‑site teams
• Complete pre‑start checks, basic maintenance, and daily cleaning
• Support orchard operations including mowing, mulching, compost and fertiliser application
• Assist with harvest as required
• Follow all health and safety procedures

About you:

• 1–3 years’ experience operating farm machinery
• Experience with agrichemicals and sprayers
• Mechanical aptitude and strong safety focus
• Full manual licence
• Class 2/4, forklift licence, or kiwifruit experience advantageous
