Specialist Coatings Applicator

The job As a specialist coatings applicator, you will work within a team to:

. Measures areas and calculate product consumptions . Use allocated materials, products, tools, and equipment to complete the preparation and application of specialist floor coatings, waterproofing systems, intumescent, and concrete floor repairs. . Follow project and health & safety documentation and processes. . Clean and maintain tools and equipment . Ensure quality assurance . Communicate with other staff members and client

This role is based in Christchurch with job locations across Canterbury regions. Some travel is required.

Hours will be a guarantee minimum 35 hours and maximum 40 hours per week. Any overtime hours will be paid at ordinary rate. . Time and 1/2 for any night work (some conditions may apply)

Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications . Minimum 24 months experience in any specialist coatings application including epoxy or resin floor coatings, waterproofing systems, intumescent coatings, line marking, and or concrete floors repairs . Familiar with epoxy and resin products . Familiar with hand tools, equipment and machinery . Experience in grinding, sanding, mixing product, and /or roll coating . Commitment to health & safety . An active team member . Attention to detail . Communication skills . Physically fit . Valid Driver's license
