Dusky Marine Ltd specialises in the construction and fit-out of large pleasure boats constructed from aluminium.
We are seeking a qualified, NZ registered electrician to join our installation team. This role would be the ideal opportunity for an electrician with previous marine experience to join a team of highly skilled tradesman delivering quality builds.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven as there is a high degree of autonomy in this role, while also working as part of the extended build team.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Working from Electrical drawings/ wiring schematics
- Testing the operation of electrical equipment and distribution systems
- Electrical fit out; connection of services etc
- Positioning and installation of switchboards
- Connection of electrical systems to power supplies – 415v/ 230v/ 24v
- Testing/ fault finding in continuity of circuits
