We are looking to employ someone on an ongoing basis to help during school term time with afterschool care for a 7 year old and 5 year old. Duties would include picking them up from the bus stop, preparing afternoon tea, supervising activities, helping with homework or transporting to afterschool activities.
At a minimum this role would be 2 days per week approx 2:45 - 5:45. However, for the right applicant we have a degree of flexibility and would be happy to tailor the role to something that suits both parties. For example if more hours were desired, a regular third afternoon childcare per week would be available, and further additional hours if happy to help with housework and / or gardening also available up to a maximum of around 15-20 hours per week.
We live approximately 20 minutes out of Taumarunui. Dad working on the family farm, mum working in town. The applicant we are looking for will be reliable, a clear communicator, a safe driver and have experience looking after kids. We are happy to offer competitive pay.
