Description
This role is responsible for linking sausages to specification while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency in a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities
- Linking sausages accurately to required lengths and weights
- Monitoring product quality and consistency during production
- Operating and handling sausage linking equipment safely
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment
- Following food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Assisting with other production tasks as required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in small goods, meat processing, or food manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
- Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Willingness to work in a cold environment
