We're seeking an experienced Change Manager to play a pivotal role within our Asset Transformation Programme in the Network division. This major programme is transforming how we manage and maintain our electricity network through the implementation of ESRI GIS, Maximo Asset Management, and modern, datadriven asset management practices.
Working closely with leadership, project teams, and operational business units, you will lead end-to-end change management activities to drive adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working. As a key member of the programme leadership team, you'll provide clear insight into change impacts and outcomes, with success measured through strong engagement and realisation of programme benefits.
This two year fixed term opportunity suits a hands on change professional who thrives in complex, technology enabled transformation environments and enjoys working close to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead change management activities across the Asset Transformation Programme using recognised change frameworks
- Develop, deliver and maintain core change artefacts, including change strategy, impact and stakeholder assessments, communications, training and readiness plans
- Execute, monitor and measure change adoption and effectiveness
- Coach leaders and teams to successfully transition to new systems and embed sustainable ways of working
- Partner closely with change agents, workstream leads and project managers to ensure consistent and coordinated change delivery
- Provide insights, reporting and actionable recommendations to programme leadership and senior stakeholders
- Actively contribute to Agile delivery activities, including ceremonies, testing, go live and post implementation support
- Support solution design by clearly articulating business value and end user needs
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate across Network business units, Group Digital and Energy Services
- Engage with external vendors, implementation partners, network owners, clients and learning and development providers
Health, Safety and Environment
- Promote and rolemodel a strong health, safety, quality and environmental culture
- Ensure safe work practices are followed and incidents are reported
- Take responsibility for stopping unsafe work
About You
You are a confident and experienced change leader who builds trust easily and can operate effectively within complex digital transformation programmes.
You'll bring:
- A recognised change management qualification (e.g. PROSCI, APMG)
- 5+ years experience in a similar change management or project role
- Demonstrated experience supporting largescale digital systems implementations
- Experience within utilities or assetintensive environments (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication capability
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight timeframes
- A practical, deliveryfocused mindset with sound judgement and decisionmaking skills
