Storeperson Vacancy Southland Farm Services Fulltime, Invercargill
Southland Farm Services Limited is a progressive, locally owned and operated DeLaval dealership that has supported the Southland dairy and agricultural industry since 1994. We specialise in the supply and servicing of milking machinery, water filtration, pumps, effluent design and installation, and rural and domestic plumbing.
We are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our Invercargill-based team. This is a busy Monday–Friday role with no weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and dispatch daily freight (inwards and outwards)
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage stock levels to meet operational requirements
- Complete regular stocktakes and audits
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Liaise with internal staff, suppliers, couriers, and clients
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Maintain a clean, well-organised storeroom
- Complete all documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time
About You!
- Proactive, reliable, and able to think on your feet
- Computer savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and like to stay busy
- A strong team player with clear, confident communication skills
- Comfortable working to daily and weekly deadlines and under pressure
- Full NZ Driver Licence required
- Forklift Licence with F endorsement (preferred)
Previous experience in a storeperson or similar role is an advantage, but not essential — full training and support will be provided for the right applicant.
