Come and work in a job where you can be outside and work with horses with a fun and professional team. We have a small and very professional team of racehorses. Although we train racehorses to a high level, we also have a 30-acre property that has horses grazing and also starting horses under saddle.

What we need is someone who is looking to develop their knowledge further in all aspects with horses but also someone who can come in and be an asset to the team straight away. Time management is very important and also getting jobs finished in a timely manner.

This isn't an easy job, early mornings, very physical and a degree of danger comes with working with young racehorses. Having a hard working, positive attitude and being able to work well with others and follow instructions is very important.

We start at 5am-9am, Monday-Saturday and 6:30am-8am on Sunday mornings, if you can't wake up and be at work on time please do not apply, we are a small team and if one person lets the team down it takes a toll on everyone else. Afternoons are from 2:30pm-4:30pm every day.

We have a roster that requires you to work every second weekend and you will get afternoons off during the week; we are flexible on afternoons and weekends for the right candidate. So please apply even if you can't work every second weekend but happy to work in with the team and happy to work a weekend during the month.

If you want to ride, we are happy to help but this will only be after we have seen a video of your riding and/or see you riding. If we are happy and comfortable you can ride to a level that is required, we will put the time and effort into teaching you further if required.

Experience is a bonus but not a must, there is a certain amount of learning on the job. But animal sense, following instructions and reliability is extremely important.
