About the Job: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Combination Driver / Machine Operator to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials while upholding industry standards and strict company safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy combination vehicles including trucks & tractors safely and efficiently
• Operate machinery such as excavators and loaders as required
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on vehicles & equipment
• Transport materials to and from job sites ensuring timely delivery
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors to meet project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, maintenance, and inspections
• Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full NZ Driver Licence with Class 1 & 2 (preferably Class 4) + WTR endorsements
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery
• Strong knowledge of safety practices within the earthworks sector
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Physically fit and capable of labour-intensive tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Must pass a Police background check, pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol testing
