We're seeking an experienced, professional Property and Facilities Manager to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our diverse property portfolio is well managed, compliant, and supports the longterm strategic goals of Council.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and is motivated by making a real impact in their community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and administering renewals and maintenance for Waitomo District Council infrastructure
- Managing Council's Elderly Persons Housing accommodation
- Coordinating inspections, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring work is completed efficiently
- Supporting Council to meet its strategic and longterm planning objectives through strong property management practices
To be successful, you will have a proven background in property management, a relevant industry qualification or equivalent appropriate on the job experience and have excellent communication skills. If you have previous experience in the solid waste industry, transfer station operations and waste minimisation, please refer to this in your application.
