We're now looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our presence and build a strong portfolio of clients across Canterbury and beyond. About the Role This is a hands-on, results-driven role focused on generating new business while growing existing client relationships.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing new opportunities across the construction and civil sector
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and project stakeholders
  • Converting leads into long-term labour hire partnerships
  • Growing existing accounts through consistent engagement and service delivery
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Working closely with our recruitment team to deliver quality workforce solutions
  • Keeping on top of market trends and opportunities
  • Provide accurate reporting on sales forecasting, activity, pipeline, and client performance

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and commercially focused, with a genuine ability to build relationships.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within construction, civil, or labour hire
  • A strong track record of winning new business
  • Confidence managing KPIs and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A well-organised approach with the ability to manage multiple clients
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude with a focus on results
  • Existing industry connections (highly regarded)
