Business Development and Product Manager
Are you driven, experienced in Agri-machinery sales, and ready to grow with a business that's serious about success?
Muster are working with Diesel-Tech Machinery, a dynamic, fast growing, privately owned distributor in the agricultural sector to appoint a Business Development and Product Manager.
This is a diverse, senior-level role with a strong mix of sales, product development, and strategic market input.
You'll be the connection between their manufacturing partners and the NZ market, owning product categories and driving business growth across regions.
The role will suit someone who thrives on variety, can build relationships quickly, and knows how to turn opportunity into results.
We are ideally looking for Waikato based candidates, but open to receiving applications from candidates based elsewhere, depending on product focus and regional demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers
- Manage and grow sales across dealer and direct channels
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support branding and go-to-market strategies
- Represent multiple international manufacturers
- Assist with product positioning, demos, and promotional activities
- Regular travel across NZ, and overseas travel to manufacturers
- CRM updates
About You
- Strong background in agricultural equipment sales, ideally in seeding/drilling or cultivation, material handling or livestock feeding
- Comfortable working across multiple product categories and brands
- Proven success in dealer support and direct sales
- Self-motivated, proactive, and communicative
- Excellent systems skills
- Happy to travel frequently and manage your own schedule
