We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Operations Manager to lead Trade Me Jobs based in Auckland. This isn't a traditional "sit-behind-the-desk" management role; it's a unique 70/30 hybrid. You'll spend the majority of your time coaching a high-performance sales team, while the rest is dedicated to revolutionising our operations through AI and automation.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

You will be the driving force behind both our people and our processes. Your focus will be split across two key areas:

Sales Leadership & Performance (70%)

  • Coaching for Greatness: Lead and develop a team of Client Managers to consistently exceed revenue targets through in-field coaching and strategic storytelling
  • Customer Intimacy: Maintain a deep understanding of the recruitment market and industry trends to ensure our clients view your team as highly credible digital marketing experts
  • Market Engagement: Educate the Jobs sector on our products, driving high levels of adoption, engagement, and spend

Operational Excellence & Innovation (30%)

  • Innovate with AI: Identify and implement AI-powered tools and automated workflows to create tangible efficiencies for the sales team
  • Optimise the Engine: Empower the team with data and analytics
  • Strategic Insights: Deliver actionable forecasts and strategic KPIs to leadership to refine our go-to-market strategies

**What you will bring to our team: ** You are a naturally energetic, evidence-based decision-maker who can connect long-term vision with short-term execution. You'll need:

  • Leadership Experience: 3-5+ years in sales leadership, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: A genuine passion for leveraging technology and AI to solve business problems and drive automation
  • Analytical Power: Strong financial competence and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Industry Savvy: Experience in strategic account management (ideally within the recruitment or jobs industry) and proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce
  • C-Suite Credibility: Experience nurturing senior-level client relationships and delivering sharp, influential presentations
