Sales and Estimation

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled coordinator to join our Sales and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have had some experience in pricing joinery projects (or similar), building and maintaining customer relationships, and an understanding and/or an appreciation of joinery processes. The Sales and Estimation role will play a key role in securing and making sales, meeting revenue targets, and you will report directly to Head of Sales and Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with driving sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
• General sales through proactive face to face and telephone discussions
• Accurately price joinery projects based on client specifications and budget requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Prepare and present quotes, to customers and follow up in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing inquiries, and providing ongoing support.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team giving up to date reports and seek guidance when necessary
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
• Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold company values, policies, and standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the joinery or related industry.
• Proven experience in face to face and telephone sales.
• Knowledge of joinery processes, materials, and pricing & quoting methodologies.
• Ability to interpret building plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
• CAD drawing ability considered advantageous but not essential.
• Quantity Surveying qualification or experience considered advantageous but not essential.
