Sales Consultant

Window Treatments NZ Ltd is a nationwide leading manufacturer and direct-to-market retailer of Curtains, Blinds, Shutters, Awnings, Louvre Roofs and Insect Screens.

We seek a person who can demonstrate that they have the drive to promote and sell our range of products to both the domestic and commercial markets. Excellent Customer Service is essential and at least two years of selling experience is preferred.

Operating from our Auckland branch in Rosedale, but preferably residing in south Auckland. The in-home/on-site measure and quote territory is all over the Auckland region with frequent travel to Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taupo (mostly overnight but up to 3 nights as required).

Key requirements for this position are:

• Proven successful selling experience
• Technically minded with the ability to measure and order a broad range of products
• Computer literacy and proven ability to perform with minimum supervision
• Experience in Business Development and selling to commercial and domestic clients
• Knowledge of the building industry and the ability to read plans is desirable but not essential.
• Problem solving

A company vehicle will be provided with a combination of a base salary and a performance-related quarterly bonus. This will be discussed further at the interview stage.
