Experienced Sales Representative

You will be joining our existing sales team servicing major NZ food manufacturers. Rapid is based in Papakura and we are a nationwide supplier. Some out of town travel is required.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the existing client base.
• Develop sales plans and targets to increase business and profits.
• Achieve targets for sales and growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Work with marketing to manage sales initiatives on different mediums like the internet, print and electronic media.
• Represent the organisation at trade shows and events.
• Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals to be presented to the Sales Director
• Keep accurate record of pricing and sales.
• Provide report based operational deliveries effect on sales and GP.
• Assist the Sales Director to forecast the budget for new FY and assist in re-forecasting throughout the year based on new sales agreements and lost jobs.

Duties:

• Maintain Client CRM system.
• Maintain an active call cycle with existing client base.
• Attend client site/s to assess and advise pre-quote.
• Provide quotes to the client in a timely manner.
• Create job sheets based on accepted quotes.
• Service delivery analysis report which outlines any operational service failings which have affected a job GP, repeat business or reputation.
• Work with social media and SEO personal to establish a marketing schedule to compliment your sales goals.
• Initial contact with website and phone leads
• Utilise existing target market data to initiate new client contact.
• Prioritise BDM call planning based on geographical or sector focus.

Trade background (building maintenance, painting, water blasting, etc) Must be physically fit and able to walk large client sites and climb stairs Proven BDM abilities

Training will be given in Health and Safety requirements for our company Current Full NZ Driver License All applicants will need to pass a pre-employment drug test Start rate will be based on previous experience.
