Due to continued growth and expansion, Floorpride is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hard Flooring Specialist Sales Consultant to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the South Island's leading flooring retailers, representing an extensive range of premium hard flooring products from all the industry's leading brands.

About the Role

As a Hard Flooring Specialist Sales Consultant, you will work closely with both trade professionals and private clients, helping them select the best flooring solutions for their projects. From product recommendations through to quoting and closing sales, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven sales experience, ideally within flooring, interiors, building products, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of hard flooring products, including timber, laminate, vinyl, and other hard surface solutions.
• Experience working with both trade customers and residential clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a collaborative team environment.

Hours

This role includes rostered Saturday work, approximately one Saturday in every four, with time off in lieu arrangements.
