Description

Are you an experienced Flooring Sales Representative/Project Manager looking for a new challenge with a leading brand that is set to change the way flooring is sold in New Zealand?

LivSpace is a national interiors supply and installation business delivering end-to-end solutions to the residential and construction sector. LivSpace is part of Carters Building Supplies - New Zealand's leading trade supplier with over 150 years of industry trust.

Due to growing business demand, LivSpace is expanding its operation into the Hawke's Bay region leveraging CARTERS' extensive customer network of developers, independent builders and Group Home customers. This exciting move marks a significant step in LivSpace and CARTERS becoming a one-stop destination for end-to-end interiors offering (flooring and kitchens) and construction solutions.

To spearhead this new integrated offering, we're looking for a Flooring Project Manager to manage installers, liase with suppliers and help to drive sales in the Hawke's Bay region where you will collaborate with CARTERS' Account Managers in the field who have established relationships and connections across our branch network in Napier, Hastings and Wairoa.

As the Flooring Project Manager your aim is to deliver high-quality hard and soft flooring solutions that complement LivSpace's existing offers, strengthening its position in the interior supply and install business.

You will establish a network of local installers, schedule workflow with suppliers and meet customers onsite to take them through the end-to-end sales processes from presenting samples, measuring, quantifying, quoting, managing installations and after sales support.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in flooring sales & project management, established connections with installers and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

The key functions for this role includes:

  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences tailored to their flooring needs
  • Helping customers to select materials and finishes that are appropriate for the application and client preferences
  • Measuring, quantifying and pricing
  • Working with Account Managers to convert consultations into sales
  • Delivering an outstanding client experience, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the consultation, quoting and install process

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid background in soft and/or hard flooring in the retail or commercial sector
  • Technically capable, understands products and installation
  • Sound measuring, quantifying & pricing experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Project management experience - organised, detailed with exceptional time management & multitasking abilities.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
