About the Role
As a Sales Advisor/ Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in selling independent and serviced units. You will build lasting relationships with prospects, residents, and community groups, while achieving sales targets and contributing to the success of our Julia Wallace Retirement Village. This is a full time Sales role based at our beautiful Julia Wallace Retirement Village in Palmerston North, so living locally or in the surrounding area would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets, including unit quantity, financial goals, and profit margins.
- Managing the sales pipeline, track leads, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
- Following up on unsettled contracts to ensure timely settlements.
- Building strong relationships with prospects, residents, families, and community organisations.
- Promoting the village by engaging with the community and attending events.
- Completing required sales documentation within designated timeframes.
- Analysing performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Supporting new residents during their move-in process and collaborate with village teams to ensure a seamless experience.

Who are you?
- You have proven recent sales experience with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- You build strong relationships and connect confidently with people from all backgrounds.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong active listening skills.
- You bring a customer-first mindset, showing empathy, attentiveness and a genuine drive to exceed expectations.
- You demonstrate excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- You show resilience, adaptability and a positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- You think on your feet and apply sound problem-solving skills to find practical and creative solutions.
- You are confident using digital tools and are familiar with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- You are ideally well connected and actively involved in the local community.
