Future Post is a NZ-owned business making recycled plastic fencing and farm products that are built to last. Our gear is used on farms, lifestyle blocks and equine properties right around the country, and we're growing.

We're on the lookout for a Sales Rep with solid dairy farming and equine knowledge to look after our Central North Island patch - south of Taupo and north of Wellington.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, relationship-driven sales role where your industry knowledge really matters. You'll be out and about in your territory, catching up with farmers, contractors, suppliers, and equine customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Growing new business across the region
• Building strong relationships with dairy farmers, equine operators, contractors and rural suppliers
• Giving practical advice and recommending the right products
• Preparing information for quotes, following up leads and closing sales
• Attending field days, and industry events
• Working closely with the Future Post team to ensure excellent outcomes for our customers both within this region and nationwide

About You

You'll be confident working independently, comfortable on farm, happy to travel, and easy to deal with.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Sales experience in agriculture, rural supplies or related industries
• A good understanding of dairy farming and equine setups
• Strong people skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
• The ability to manage your own time and territory
• Good time management and self-motivation
• A full NZ driver's licence
