New Home Sales Consultant (Commission only contract)

To support a strong pipeline of enquiries and keep delivering an exceptional customer experience, Landmark Homes Waikato is looking for a New Home Sales Consultant to join the team. You’ll be selling new-build and off-the-plan homes to both owner-occupiers and investors. You’ll work with a mix of supplied leads and your own networking to generate opportunities, managing the full sales journey from first meeting through to contract signing. You’ll also be part of a down-to-earth team that genuinely cares about the customer journey and doing things properly.
About the Role: This role combines relationship-building, sales administration, and marketing/networking.
Key responsibilities include: *Manage sales enquiries, generate new leads, and build strong relationships with home buyers, investors, and industry professionals. *Host open homes, private viewings, and showroom appointments, creating a welcoming and professional experience (including some weekend work). *Guide clients through the home-building journey from initial consultation through to contract negotiation and final sign-off offering personalised support at every stage. *Understand client needs and present tailored proposals, specifications, and pricing recommendations. *Educate clients on building processes, financing options, and available developments. *Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity notes in our CRM system (Rave Build) to ensure smooth communication and service *Support marketing initiatives, including responding to enquiries, distributing information packs, and assisting with promotions and signage. *Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. *Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate, pricing estimates, design sign-offs, and council requirements. *Regularly report on sales activity and client progress to management.

Finding the right fit matters to us attitude is just as important as experience. That said, the skills below will help you hit the ground running (but they’re not essential): *Proven sales experience in residential new builds *Reliable car, and able to work from our Hamilton office (with flexibility for client meetings and industry events) *Previous experience with Rave Build (CRM system) is a plus. *Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is an advantage.

Details: *Location: Office-based at Landmark Homes Waikato HQ in Pukete, Hamilton. *Hours: Hours are flexible but standard are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and showroom appointments will include some weekends. *Culture: We care about what we do and genuinely collaborate with people throughout the process.
