Internal Sales / Sales Assistant – Christchurch We are a well-established Christchurch business specialising in water pumps, filtration, and water systems.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person who can step into a busy, practical role and take ownership.
The Role This is not just a desk job. You’ll be front of house dealing with customers, while also providing sales support to the team and keeping our showroom and stock running properly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving walk-in customers
- Handling incoming sales calls
- Providing day-to-day sales support to the team
- Monitoring and restocking showroom stock
- Labelling, pricing, and organising products
- Serial numbering stock
- Packaging goods and organising freight
- Notifying management when stock is low
- Assisting with stock takes
- General housekeeping (everyone pitches in)
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and hands-on
- Comfortable working on your feet
- Strong communication skills
- Organised with attention to detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Willing to learn and start from the ground up
- Pump industry experience preferred. Trade or mechanical background will be looked on favourably
