About us

MyNoke is on a mission to transform New Zealand’s organic waste into worm castings that restore our soils. We’re looking for a Lab & Field Technician to support our Science and Environmental team - the practical link between what happens on our farms and the data that drives our decisions.

What you’ll do

• Collect samples and monitor performance at MyNoke sites.
• Prepare and process samples for lab testing.
• Maintain equipment, organise the lab, and manage sample archives.
• Enter, check, and manage data in tools like Forms on Fire and Excel.
• Support compliance reporting and R&D trial monitoring.

What you’ll bring

• Qualification in Environmental, Soil, Agricultural, or Laboratory Science.
• Experience in field or lab work (or eagerness to learn fast).
• Experience with drones, GIS, or environmental monitoring systems is desirable.
• Attention to detail and pride in getting data right.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A full driver’s licence and readiness to get outdoors (and a bit muddy).
