Senior HVAC Technician/Lead | Central Otago | Alexandra/Cromwell
We’re working with a well-established mechanical services company that’s expanding into Central Otago and looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to help build their local presence. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key role, working closely with the Mechanical Manager to establish and grow a new branch in the Alexandra/Cromwell region. We are willing to work with relocations as well
What’s on offer:
- Permanent, full-time position
- $36 – $45 per hour (depending on experience)

The role:
- You’ll be involved in a mix of installation, servicing, and maintenance work across HVAC systems.
- As one of the first hires in the region, you’ll also contribute to shaping processes, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery on all projects.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in HVAC installation and/or servicing
- Relevant trade qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and a professional approach with clients
- Ability to take initiative and contribute to a growing team
While this role is ideally suited to a senior technician, we’re also open to considering intermediate-level candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, technical ability, and potential to step up.
