Due to continued growth in our HVAC division, Aotea Electric Nelson is on the lookout for skilled HVAC Technicians to join our high-performing team in the beautiful Nelson/Tasman region.

About the Role

You'll be part of a busy and well-established team delivering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services across residential, commercial, and construction projects.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Installing HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Servicing and maintaining existing systems
• Diagnosing and repairing faults
• Working across a variety of residential and commercial sites
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who bring both technical expertise and a strong work ethic.

Ideally, you will have:

• 2+ years' hands-on experience in HVAC, air conditioning, or refrigeration
• Relevant qualifications (HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Engineer, or Registered Electrician with HVAC experience)
• Experience across residential, commercial, or construction environments
• A commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, self-motivated approach
