Final Arc Fabrication Ltd have been operating in Auckland for over five years. We focus mainly on the NZ Transport sector, from building truck bodies to general fabrication work. We also travel around Auckland and remote sites to meet our customers. needs. Our workshop is located at 331 Neilson St, Onehunga, Auckland.

The suitable candidate needs to have a general understanding of welding and be capable of creating brilliant ideas and solving problems. Second, a highly skilled welder with relevant work experience of at least 5 years. And basically, an all-rounder who does not complain about anything that gets thrown at them.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment.
• Able to create simple projects to meet customers' needs without relying on plans.
• Read and interpret blueprints with welding symbols.
• Weld steel, aluminium, and other various metals
• Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or shift components into a different location before welding.
• Inspect final products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Able to work long hours when required.
• Always keeping our fleet clean and tidy
• Elegant presentation and appearance.
• Team Player and punctual always.
• Able to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays, when needed.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Essential - Own transport to and from work
• Essential - Physically fit and capable
• Essential - Mig Welding experience
• Desirable - Welding ticket/s
• Desirable - Experience in Automotive Welding, specifically truck and car accessories.
• Desirable - Tig Welding Experience.

Benefits:

Competitive rates of pay, starting at $30- $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. Permanent and full-time role with reasonable working hours, with a minimum of 30 hours a week paid fortnightly. Location: Throughout Auckland as specified by the employer. Head office address:
