Contract Pipe Welders (ASME IX Certified)

We are seeking two skilled Pipe Welders with ASME IX certification for an Auckland based contract position in the marine sector.

The ideal candidates we are looking to connect with will have experience in welding carbon steel pipes and be proficient in adhering to ASME IX standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe welding tasks with a focus on carbon steel materials, ensuring compliance with ASME IX standards.
• Execute welding operations in a marine environment, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints to perform accurate welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

To be considered, you must have:

• ASME IX certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in welding carbon steel pipes, preferably in the marine sector.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
