About the Role This isn’t your average workshop job. it’s a role for someone who thrives in tough environments, enjoys solving real mechanical challenges, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. As a Fitter Welder, you’ll be tackling complex service work across both the Bulk Handling and Timber Processing industries, on mobile and static plant used across demanding industrial sites. You’ll weld, fit, fabricate, troubleshoot, commission, diagnose, repair, and support equipment that keeps our customers running. Every day will look different, and you’ll need resilience, initiative, and the confidence to work both independently and alongside a high performing team. Key Responsibilities Hands On Service & Technical Work
- Carry out workshop and on site repairs on mobile and static equipment
- Perform hands on troubleshooting and technical problem solving
- Deliver technical support and on site training to customers
- Assist with installation, commissioning, upgrades, and project work
- Develop and maintain accurate service documentation
- Complete all paperwork professionally and on time
- Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams Safety & Wellbeing
- Drive high standards of health & safety on every site
- Ensure incidents and injuries are reported and followed up
- Maintain a strong safety-first mindset especially under pressure Customer & Sales Support
- Build strong, trust based customer relationships
- Identify opportunities for future work and service improvements

- Comfortable working at heights, around heavy machinery, and on challenging industrial sites
- Practical, tough, and mechanically sharp
- Self motivated with strong initiative
