This well known, large truck repair and manufacturing company is looking for a talented Transport Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team! With their new yard operating and long-term expansion plans already in motion, the business is sustaining its traditional values whilst investing heavily in its future, and you could be next on board!
What's in it for you?
- New purpose-built workshop with more growth in the mix
- Collaborative team with great leaders in the business

- Work-life balance - 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday + OT available
- $45-$50 per hour contract or wages available for the right candidate
The role:
This opportunity has surfaced as they have upcoming retirements from long-serving team members who have dedicated 10 to 20 years to the business and are true legends of the trade, they are now looking for the next Welder Fabricator to step in and continue producing high-quality work for their valued clients.
The business is structured across three specialist departments, Fitting & Hydraulics, Fabrication & Manufacturing, and Service & Repairs. It operates two established service pits for maintenance works alongside a clean, organised and highly efficient workshop. This structure allows each team to focus on its area of expertise while maintaining strong collaboration across the workshop.
A dedicated Inventory Manager keeps materials and components organised to ensure work flows smoothly, while a Design Engineer provides accurate drawings so Welder Fabricators can focus purely on fixing and manufacturing their trucks. With efficient systems, clear expectations and strong leadership in place you'll be supported to do your job properly, which is reflected by an Engineer we placed with this company who is still thriving there four years on.

- Positive attitude and able to get in on team banter
