About our work: You’ll be working on a wide variety of interesting projects in this “on the tools” Foreman role:

  • Maintain overview of works forecasted for Aimex and your team, and ensure all parties are fully cognisant of outlook. Highlight gaps and support solutions.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and resourcing according to priorities and project schedules, ensuring all work is delivered to best practise, regulatory and safety needs.
  • Direct, supervise and trouble shoot routine issues.
  • Order and maintain proper levels of materials, tools and equipment needed for job tasks.
  • Lead a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to promote skill development and success.
  • Build strong customer relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication with customers, explaining complex or technical information clearly.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time

About you: We need you to have:

  • Trades qualification with strong fabrication experience, with marine experience being an advantage (but not essential)
  • Exposure and understanding of project management concepts
  • Pride in your work and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage at all levels and build sustainable relationships with our diverse teams.
  • Highly organised and able to deal with conflicting priorities and work under pressure
  • Champion of health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace
  • Good computer literacy and experience working systems, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Physical stamina and agility to work in a marine environment.
  • A clean full NZ driver's license.
