Stainless Steel Fabricators

DTS is seeking experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators to join our team in Normanby, Taranaki.

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of high-quality stainless steel products and equipment. As a key member of our Trades & Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients across the region.

What you'll be doing:

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble stainless steel components and
  equipment
• Performing welding, cutting, grinding and finishing tasks to produce quality stainless steel products
• Installing and commissioning stainless steel equipment on client sites
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing stainless steel installations
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for:

• Several years' experience as a stainless steel fabricator, welder or boilermaker
• Strong technical skills in stainless steel fabrication, welding, cutting and finishing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and safe work practices
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with the team and clients
