Location: Upper Hutt Monday to Friday ASAP Start
We’re looking for an experienced and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team full-time.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in SMAW
- Equivalent SMAW welding certification from a nationally recognised assessor
- GTAW/GMAW welding experience is advantageous
- Ability to accurately read engineering drawings and identify design inconsistencies
- Strong fabrication, material prep, layout, and coordination skills
- High workmanship standards and strong attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised and also as part of a team
- Excellent housekeeping and workshop safety standards
- Understanding of Quality and Health & Safety requirements
- Willingness to assist with workshop and onsite installations when required
- Positive attitude toward process and system improvements
Requirements:
- Clean pre-employment drug test
- Police check
- Full rights to work in New Zealand
